What a wonderful and caring Dr, I had the most wonderful care from Dr Chaudhri who took the time to explain everything in detail and explain the procedure options. Can not recommend him highly enough for exemplary care and professionalism that was shown throughout the initial consultation and surgery.

I had an Inguinal Hernia for some years but it had never caused me any problems, until about 3 months after Bladder & Prostate removal due to an aggressive Bladder Tumour and "Elevated" PSA readings. Referred to UHCW by my GP. Seen by Consultant who agreed that an open Hernia Repair was required. BUT NHS waiting list turned out to be between 30 to 39 Weeks! Contacted BENENDEN who gave me a choice of several hospitals and Surgeons. I chose Mr Chaudhri based on excellent reviews and proximity of Woodland Hospital. Mr Chaudhri saw me on the Tuesday, when he examined me a discussed my history and treatment. We agreed on an operation date (the following Saturday!). Operation took place and all went well, discharged same evening. Mr Chaudrhi has a very friendly but professional manner, easy to talk to, and he explained the procedure and risks in depth. Very happy with treatment and choice of Surgeon. PLUS Scotland drew with England in the 6 Nations!! Very little pain from surgical procedure. Recovery going well. Many Thanks Mr Chaudhri.

Mr Chaudhri made an experience that I wasn't particularly looking forward to as relaxed and low stress as possible. There was good informative communication, both before and during the procedure and if I have to have the procedure again I would be more than happy to see him.

I had tested positive for blood in my poo and at the time was having a bloated stomach, bad nausea, acid reflux and burping. What made matters worse, was that we have a history in our family of bowel cancer (2 great uncles died in their late 40s, an uncle was diagnosed when he was 49 and died in his early 60s, my father was diagnosed with bowel cancer at 69 and successfully operated on and is all clear still at 72). I am aged 48 and never had a Colonoscopy before (or even been admitted into hospital since I was 6), hence it was a very big worry for me and my family indeed. I arrived on the day of my Colonoscopy and all of the staff were absolutely marvellous. They were very helpful and got me organised for the procedure. When it was time for the procedure I was led into the room and Mr Chaudri and the nurses made me feel at ease. I did not dare look at the two screens that were displaying the high resolution imagery of inside my Colon, until Mr Chaudri and the nurses made me more comfortable by talking to me, to take my mind away from the procedure. Mr Chaudri I learned was in the Navy which also re-assured me as I also was in the Army and still help with an Army Charity in my spare time. I was in very good hands indeed! I eventually picked up the courage to look at the screen, when the camera was near the end of its journey. I did not know exactly what I was looking at but Mr Chaudri assured me that everything looked good so far, which really put my mind at rest. The only thing I had which we found when nearly exiting was a small hemorroid (which may explain the blood found in the poo). Words cannot describe, but I was extremely relieved to say the least. I recovered extremely quickly, got a drink of water and a sandwich down me, got dressed etc and I was ready to go home in no time A very big THANK YOU to Mr Chaudri and your team and all the nurses at Woodland Hospital.

went to see mr Chaudhri for a soma reversal, he explained the procedure fully, even managed to do it with keyhole which saved a lot of recovery time. Still had to have an illistomy bag for a month but he did explain before that that was possible, had the illistomy bag reversal after a month with no problems. Was back to work just over a month later. He does more better!
